If we had followed the thinking to cease the pain we should have given the right to terminal patients to end their lives, if ending their lives while despising eternal consequences would cease their suffering indeed.
Following this insane reasoning we would had to conclude very soon that to cease all types of suffering we should be allowed to kill selectively many suffering people around us just to end their pain.
Or we should officially, with the approval of that law and under the protection of the State, let those who are suffering to choose killing themselves, even at the cost of making loving family members, relatives and friends to suffer an inner terrible pain in their souls for loosing them.
We think that this despicable and so inhumane death loving law had been approved by the electorate, it would have reduced human life in our State to a matter of a simple concept of suffering and to ending pain a infamous justification to an abusive right to end life.
Even with a narrow margin, the option "NO" won, spreading an absolute repulsion for what would have been an invocation of another curse over our State, that the Unity of the Church overcame for the Glory of Jesus Christ.
