President Obama on Some Life Issues

Roe v. Wade (US Supreme Court legalized Abortion in the year of 1973
Supports

“As we mark the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we must remember that this Supreme Court decision not only protects a woman’s health and reproductive freedom, but also affirms a broader principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters. I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose and this fundamental constitutional right. While this is a sensitive and often divisive issue—no matter what our views, we must stay united in our determination to prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant woman and mothers, reduce the need for abortion, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption. And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.”
January 22, 2012: President Obama’s statement issued on the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade

“Today marks the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, and affirms a fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters. I am committed to protecting this constitutional right. I also remain committed to policies, initiatives, and programs that help prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant women and mothers, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption,”

Planned Parenthood
“Thanks to all of you at Planned Parenthood for all the work that you are doing for women all across the country and for families all across the country”

Embryonic stem cell research
Supportive
President Obama signed the Executive Order 13505 Removing Barriers To Responsible Scientific Research involving Human Stem Cells on March 9, 2009

Excerps:
"... By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. Research involving human embryonic stem cells and human non-embryonic stem cells has the potential to lead to better understanding and treatment of many disabling diseases and conditions. Advances over the past decade in this promising scientific field have been encouraging, leading to broad agreement in the scientific community that the research should be supported by Federal funds.

For the past 8 years, the authority of the Department of Health and Human Services, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to fund and conduct human embryonic stem cell research has been limited by Presidential actions. The purpose of this order is to remove these limitations on scientific inquiry, to expand NIH support for the exploration of human stem cell research, and in so doing to enhance the contribution of America's scientists to important new discoveries and new therapies for the benefit of humankind.

Sec. 2. Research. The Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary), through the Director of NIH, may support and conduct responsible, scientifically worthy human stem cell research, including human embryonic stem cell research, to the extent permitted by law."

IV - Final - On President Obama: Abortion & Religion

Abortion: A Matter of Life!

It is imperative to place it on the record that abortion, gay marriage, etc., etc. are issues of extreme essential for the survival of a nation not only because for them who know their history all the civilizations that became like Sodom and Gomorrah, Pompey, the Roman Empire etc., needed no “cretin and absurd policy” to cease to exist.

People like Joe call “cretin and absurd” the Bush political legacy. It is lamentable that any abortion be practiced, whether legally or illegally! Bush is clean on record of defending the right of Life for all human beings.

It is true abortion is all about an individual decision in each and every case, but to do this in the name of, and with the resources of the State and incorporating the practice into legislation – this is what may not be considered cretinous and absurd in modern societies, but not for the King of all the Earth. Who lives and who dies, He will see! Abortion is assasination or homicide.

Candidates and their religions

I don't vote for anyone simply on account of their religious creed and I am sure that all these journalsits are really is a “shock to see so many Brazilians lining up with the Republican Party and aligning with the Tea Party” because fundamentally even he doesn't respect the right and duty of people to choose for themselves, just as he tried unsuccessfully to sustain individual rights in what they say and write article by contradicting themselves.

It's lamentable that the Immigration Debate overcomes all the other issues that concern not only immigrants but all society

I really don't know what Joe meant when in one of his late articles refered to “our chronic lack of leadership”. Leadership for him and for all others is we walk according to their playbook.

Surely “President Barack (Hussein) Obama certainly hasn't brought a dream government to pass.” I completyly agree, it is a nightmare ever imagined to be possible.

Joe, Eduardo de Oliveira and Edirson Paiva say that “Obama has given advancement to Bush's policies of imprisoning and deporting, in fact, as never before.” This is an attempt to attain an even lower degree of intelligence than the expected IQ!

The reality will be totally attainable and will be totally revealed any way, if Mitt Romney be the next President or if Obama serves another four years this destructive agenda of his.

Song of America, from Milton Nascimento, a Brazilian Singer and Composer:

Canção da América (America Song)

Friend is something to keep

Under seven keys

Inside the heart

Thus spoke the song

I heard that in America

But who sang, cried

To see his friend goes

But who had thought, flew

With his singing than the other reminded

And who flew in thought, kept

The reminder that the other sang

Friend is something to keep

On the left side of chest

Even though the time and distance say “no”

Even forgetting the song

What matters is to listen to the voice that comes from the heart

Because whatever it comes

Come what may

Any day, friend

I find you again

Any day, friend

We will meet

Whatever it comes

Come what may

Any day, friend

I find you again

Any day, friend

We will meet
