Are they undocumented or Illegal Immigrants?

Those who entered and worked here illegally had broken the law, but have those undocumented or illegal immigrants violated a Criminal or a Civil Law? 

Entering in the country illegally is considered a federal misdemeanor. Simply lacking legal immigration status is a civil violation, however they are not committing a crime by being in the country illegally. 

Read what Wikipedia says about Immigration Laws: 

“Immigration law, regarding foreign citizens, is related to nationality law, which governs the legal status of people, in matters such as citizenship. Immigration laws vary from country to country, as well as according to the political climate of the times, as sentiments may sway from the widely inclusive to the deeply exclusive of new immigrants.” 

Our Constitution is the Rule of Law on Illegal Immigration. When I read the Preamble the "The Constitution of Freedom" I always realize that I am touching serious fabrics of civilization. 

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” 

It is in the Constitution Article 1 Section 8 that says that among many powers, the Congress has the power to “establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization.” 

It is the Congress that has the power to legislate on those issues. And it has done many more than a 120 years. 

US Embassies and Consulates are the State Government agencies that control who enters or not in the United States, therefore, visas to foreigners. 

I will not, it is not my purpose to address these processes here, but I can affirm that through the Laws of the last 40 years and the current laws and these processes it is almost impossible that any immigrant who wants to come here to find a basic job, like cleaner, farm worker, cashier of a bakery and other similar positions gets a proper visa to enter here legally. 

Someone may argue that anyone can be invited by a US company to work here for any job, what is not quite so. 

The same Congress who approves the Laws is the same Congress that will have to deal with the reality of 11 million people living here illegally. 

The President, Governors and all Public authorities swear obey the Constitution. Apart the Legislative Power which is the Government Branch that makes the Laws, it is the Executive Power that enforces the laws while the Judiciary makes sure that everybody obeys the Law. 

We have to make sure that We, The People, that empowers all public servants from the President to the simplest of them, because all of them are accountable to the People. The Government is the Government because of the will of the people. 

If they don’t enforce make, don’t enforce and don’t make sure that is obeyed, they are breaking the Law. 

Including this President of our time, governments have not been fulfilling the Law on these matters of Immigration for a long time. 

They have in hand Social Security reports that easily identify millions of immigrants who are working with a fake document, with a Social Security not valid for employment or with a TIN – Tax Identification Number. Why did they not act before? They didn’t for total economic interest, because the country needed or are still in need of this huge task force, called by many “illegal immigrants.” They call themselves America. 

But let us be unfair. Let us send 11 million immigrants back to the countries of their first nationality. 

Let us secure our borders now. We have broken the Law on this, but from now on let us start clean. 

Supposed that 11 million are deported with the use of almost 40 thousand flights, Mexico had already received 4 million of them, Brazil 700 thousand, 300 thousand each country of Latin America, 3 million Chinese and so on. Cost of the Operation: 12 billion dollars. 

Economic and Social Impact: Economic Impact: 11 million less consumers, at least 2 millions of empty houses and apartments; millions of cars aprehended by the financial institutions for lack of payment, ghost towns and neighborhood, revolt around the world, at least 6 million open jobs available immediately, rotted crops for lack of farm workers... 

Just imagining! Mission accomplished! 

I don't think so. What I think really is that 8 million at least will continue been living here. 

The Barack Obama Government is either lying on the numbers of the undocumented people living here or they really don’t know. 

The truth is that Immigrations have been coming and leaving to this country under the shadows of the convenience of those who were supposed to fulfill the Law, but they didn’t. 

President Obama signed an Executive Order last year to momentarily give legal status, according to him, to 800 thousand of young people who entered here illegaly with the age of 16 to 28. 

One only and final suggestion: 

Find out how many young people have already applied for!

Why President Obama's uncle should not be deported?

By now Mr. Onyango should have got his Permanent Visa long time ago.


Not for being President Obama's uncle he should now get his Visa as a courtesy. Of course not.

A President can not and should not have to use his power and influence to interfere with the Justice even if who broke the Law was his father. Much less an uncle!

What kind of Legal System is this that allowed someone to stay illegally in this soil for so many years?

What moral such Immigration System has to claim the application of the Law just now in order to deport this 68 years old man who have lived here for the last 40 years?

Not like millions of American senior citizens who regularly drink this old man was caught driving under the influence. So bad, I agree! He should not like anybody else drive drunk.

However is this System really legal? I don't think so. Is it just? No, it is not. At least this system is indecent and unseemly.

Obama is spending far more than all last administrations. US is borrowing money from China like a crazy cocaine addicted. He says he is not going to raise taxes. In the last 4 years the grocery and gas prices went up dramatically. The way we spend and borrow there will not be enough revenue of taxes to pay for it.

He didnt balance the budget in Mass the Democratic Reps did- He cut benefits for early education- childcare among other things

Romney balanced the budget. Actually when Patrick took office there was money in the State accounts. As governor of Massachusetts Romney turned a $3 billion deficit into a $1 billion surplus

He was very unsupportive of Worcester and if you talk to people who held office with him will tell you how unfair he was in regards to policy and social services

At what price the cuts of all the people that needed the support...he would make worc beg for the state funding support

He didnt care about health care, chidlcare and or education

Do you ask about Health care? No comments, maybe we live in a different state. Education? We have one of the highest rates on education in the whole country. Childcare. Who takes care of the children should be parents and not the state.

And how do the parents do that when they have to work... or do they just depend on Welfare

About parents working that is a good question? How, I ask you?

Obama spent 8 trillion dollars more. He promised to cut in half the deficit. He is running the country even without budget. His government lives by dead lines. Do you remember and know why our Credit rate score went down?

The vital issue that matters is that we can't sell our soul to China.

Yes but that was not the the one who created the mess he was elected into office and put int he possition to clean up the mess made by the Rep and having to do it with a Rep cabinet

The basic difference between Romney and Obama is that he is an administrator and our President is an activist politician.

I will vote for an Amos heart over a Babilonian leader any day-- a communtiy activist will always care about the building up the people



Josimar Salum:

Amos heart? Who? Obama's? Please there is a lot of confusion going on. Babylonian leaders. They both are. I am not deceived. We are not voting for the Assemblies of God president.



This president doesn't know where he is coming from and to where he is going to. European socialism is the philosophy that thrives Obama. And I know well where this is going to end.

Obama has not been able to clean up in 3 years his own mess of his first year . How is he able to clean everybody else messes? Any way I don't thing he is capable to do it. A country is not run by words but my efficient administrative decisions.

Our state is democrat and you know why. MA is the most liberal state along with CA.

Sarai, about immigration you are now talking about something we agree about Romney and I don't think you support Obama in this issue.

I do not agree with Mitt Romney's position on immigration.

However what Obama has done is frustrating and a shame.

On his first two years he could have passed any legislation on immigration: He didn't while he has majority of votes on both houses.

He frustrated all of us, because he had promised to do the immigration reform on his first year, but he did not.

And his Executive Order halting the deportation of undocumented people from 16 to 31 years of age, meeting some requirements may turn into a Trojan Horse.

Why did he not signed a Executive Order and gave them all permanent visas?

I do agree that Obama could have done more in regards to immigration and see his efforts now especially the youth is very important

Why should I believe him now?

I must tell you that Romney is not my favorite candidate. I had other preference.

But as A BELIEVER I do not vote for any candidate that works and support policies that kill babies on mother" wombs.

Why using the same Executive Order did he not give the green cars to these young people?

After Obama promised 4 years ago to change immigration laws to benefit millions of immigrants and not fulfilling what promised even when he had majority of votes on both Houses and after deporting more than 400.000 immigrants per year including thousands and thousands of Brazilians who never committed a crime CTIB - Central do Trabalhador Imigrante Brasileiro urge Latino US citizens to vote for him. "Let the deportations go on."

Mitt called for "self deportation" and Obama DID and DOES more deportations than any President in history before him.

As ABC news reported last December: "Since 2009, the annual average number of deportations has approached 400,000, according to the Department of Homeland Security. That’s double the annual average during President George W. Bush’s first term and 30 percent higher than the average when he left office."
