The Strangers at the Door: Immigration Now Matters

Josimar Salum

Click here - Despite Rubio’s wooing, radio hosts protest immigration reform bill

"Conservative radio talk show hosts have signed a letter opposing the sweeping immigration reform bill in the Senate, bucking tea party favorite Sen. Marco Rubio's attempts to win their support for the bill, which combines enhanced border security with a legalization program for the nation's."

If someone wants to define my social-political views though I reject any labeling, I should be seen or called as a plausible Conservative.

On Immigration issues the vast majority of Conservatives cannot admit they are part of an illegal system that has lots of laws in place but they were never observed or respected neither by Citizens and our authorities nor by "illegals."

Those full of fervor conservatives  cannot say what we should do with 11 Million unauthorized immigrants that live and work here. They are in favor of an Immigration Reform but cannot line up any sober thought on the matter. It is time to get real!

Those 11 million unauthorized immigrants are here by all means with our long time acquiescence.

It was like having a house for your own and every night when you leave the back door opened, uninvited guests come in and sleep in your couch, lay down on your floors, drink of your water and take shower on your bathroom.

When you go out the next evening to dine with your wives you meet them as waiters at your favorite restaurants.

Almost every day you meet others of these aliens as you order your breakfast at a drive-thru  window of a Dunk in Donuts or at a MacDonald for your lunch. You are so generous that you even tip them well.

The next day they mow your lawn, make your coffee, clean your house, baby sitter your kids, drive them to their schools and play with them in the park.

Their children even study American history in the same class room of your kids, go to high school with your teenagers, attend college and on Sundays you all go to the Church to worship God together.

Others with guest passes come in the same way.

The difference is that you greet them at the door. Like all others they overstay and make their living among you.

They find jobs in your factories, industries, farms, hospitals, everywhere and have been serving you every day for many years.

And after so many years of illegal activities you now scream to them: Out of my house!

You are all hypocrites!
